Reinventing the Spindle (ongoing)

Carried out in the framework of a LACMA Art + Technology Grant, Reinventing the Spindle is an artistic exploration of textile manufacturing in microgravity and low-gravity environments. The experimental process is intended as a contribution to further diversity in future technological frameworks and a basis for greater conversation around the ramifications of space colonization. The project is supported by the MIT Media Lab Space Exploration Initiative as its technical advisor.
